About me
Who I am
My name is Federico Lagrèze. I live in the City of Buenos Aires. Hobbies: sports, cinema, photography, music, cooking and pets. I studied the Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Graphic Design at UAI (Universidad Abierta Interamericana) in 2004 and finished my graduation thesis a few years later getting the highest grade. I have been working for more than thirteen years as a Web and Graphic Designer. Currently, I develop web and mobile interfaces and devote myself to layout designs in html5. I have a good knowledge of Wordpress, Bootstrap and Github, and in turn, I use Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, FigJam and Miro on a daily basis. I am mostly interested in observing the users so as to provide the best experience for them. I do not fear constant changes since I adapt easily to any given circumstances. I believe that people must permanently look for their best version.
I was granted a scholarship by the UP (Universidad de Palermo) to take part in its “Innovation Lab IBM” to consolidate UX knowledge.
My beginnings in this work during the first six years of my Bachelor's Art Degree in Graphic Design were in the world of digital agencies, such as “609 Agency”, “True Logic” and “Marketing Plus”. After that, I joined the Government of the City of Buenos Aires in the area of “Smarts Cities” within the Ministry of Modernization, where I developed website design and landing pages, participated in the processes of user’s experiences, and built collaboratively the design system of several applications such as “BA Taxi”, “Disfrutemos BA” and “MiBA”.
Some years later, I entered the financial world at “Banco Galicia” in Argentina in order to improve various experiences in card payments, theft and loss processes, products regarding rural areas, lending and business loans. Afterward, I continued at “Poincenot”, a startup focused on white-label products for “Banco Macro”, “Banco Sabadell”, “Credicuotas”, and other smaller financial companies. I also worked at “Veritran” enhancing processes and digital platforms targeted at over 50 banks in Latin America.
Currently and for some years I lead the design and user experience team in the startups where I present my services. In my last work with my team we built the new design systems, and also worked on the rebranding focusing on the needs of the user. My goal is that the brand's values are reflected in the product with the added value of making a 100% accessible and simple experience.
